WOYWW - 773 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here was my desk earlier in the week!

Another kit from Anna Hersom.

This beautiful resin owl is the main image.

I'm not going to bore you with long written details as I'm sure you will work it out for yourself what's going on so here goes.

Black Gesso.

Blue spray ink.

Stencil stars with shiny stencil paste.

Mica paints.

Prep for the finish, gold paint, glitter shards, sentiment and today's desk looks like this ......

We're done!
I did alter the original design slightly but happy with it.
What about you?

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Journal Grids.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a collection of collages made in my Masterboard Grid Journal:

I am still enjoying making these collage grids and I've decided some of them at some time may be used on cards.
Don't panic the ten pound notes are not real just paper napkins.

A few more samples.

It's great fun trying out some different techniques to create the papers and then designing the collages.

I've also added sentiments to these last ones and made two of them into card fronts.

I probably will scan some of these too and then use them on cards, we'll see.

I'm sure there will be more to follow and
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Well I've been busy even if these two haven't!

The garden is coming to life, though I've no idea what these are but they are pretty.
Tell me if you know what they are please.

I decided it was time to tidy up the raised beds.

This is what they looked like at the start of yesterday

and this is what they look like now though I'm not sure that they wont need some more work before the new plants arrive.
I also planted some seeds in the greenhouse, fingers crossed they germinate.

 This might make you smile.
It was in the park when we were walking the dogs the other day. It was Red Nose Day when we saw it so might have been something to do with that.
It's not every day you see a dinosaur in the park Lol!

I had to include this again as it's so me!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 772 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

So here is my desk for today!

Back to the collage journal this time using my less favourite colour which is yellow but I'm trying to be brave and play with it.
The only other stuff on the desk is probably a variety of glues but mostly I tend to use Prit stick and a Ranger collage glue for this.

I try not to think too much when putting these together so I just take about three papers, cut and tear them to fit and attach.
I do tend to arrange them differently on each grid.
I finished these collages with some paper napkins that I've had for ages, they are not real ten pound notes so please don't worry, I haven't lost my mind yet or won on the Lottery! Finally added some gold stencil paste which is lovely and shiny.
I will probably add a sentiment at some stage when I decide what to use the grids for.

Anyway that's what I've been playing with and I quite like the finished collages even though they are yellow Lol!

So that's me done for today, nice and quick just how you like it.

However, I have been working on a new Mixed Media piece and if you would like to see details you can see it below this post here:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Mixed Media Monday today.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Something a bit different this Monday as I've been busy working on a new Mixed Media project designed by Anna Hersom:

So just a quick look at how I put this together.

Not easy to see but stencil first.

You can see the detail  better here.

Frames next.

Once they are put together we can start to build up the design with resin light bulbs and cogs.

Cover all that in black Gesso and then add the colour using a dry brush blending it to prevent sharp edges.

The moths are painted black and then red gilding flakes added. I also went over some of it with Treasure gold wax to bring out the detail.

Hope you like it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Visiting my mum we saw this amazing rainbow well two actally, there is another just towards the left

and it was so complete too. I think it showed up so well as the sky was so dark.

Later in the week we went shopping at a large Mall and had lunch too, lasagne scrummy.

I can't resist popping in to the pet shop area to see the fish.
I have no idea what he/she was but he/she was very friendly and kept coming up to the glass to look at me.

Terrapins too.
Very sweet until they start to grow.

Back home Orchid flowering, beautiful or what!

Just a few more photos from the Venetian festival.

Can't go without a few funnies obviously!

How cute are they!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
